Our support team can help with account issues, billing, Lore Models, and technical questions.
What The Lore Book is and where to use it.
What is The Lore Book?
The Lore Book is an encrypted personal lore journal for iOS. Capture voice memos and moments in the Present, organize them into memories and stories in the Past, and pursue ranked missions and visions in the Future — with optional Lore Model guides.
Is there a web app?
Yes. You can sign in at thelorebook.com/app on desktop to browse your lore, run agent chats, and manage your account. Capture and full mobile workflows are built for the iOS app.
How do I download the app?
Get The Lore Book free on the App Store, then create an account with email or Apple Sign In.
Account setup and your first entries.
How do I create an account?
Open the iOS app or visit thelorebook.com/sign-up on desktop. You'll need a valid email address and a password, or you can use Apple Sign In.
How do I start documenting my story?
In the Present tab, capture a moment or voice memo. From there you can promote it into memories, stories, recaps, or progress trails — each with traceable sources back to what you captured.
What are Past, Present, and Future?
Present is your capture inbox. Past holds archived lore blocks — memories, stories, recaps, and progress trails. Future is where visions and ranked missions live.
Guides, virtues, and challenge paths.
What is a Lore Model?
A Lore Model is a published guide with virtues, values, and mission sets. Browse the public catalog at thelorebook.com/lore-models, then follow a challenge path inside the app to earn Lumin and deepen your practice.
What is ranked mode?
Ranked mode turns missions into a progression system. Complete objectives, earn Lumin, and unlock deeper mission sets as you build affinity with a Lore Model.
Can I preview missions before downloading?
Yes. Each Lore Model page on thelorebook.com shows published virtues, profile details, and mission path previews before you install the app.
Credentials, email, and deletion.
How do I reset my password?
Tap "Forgot Password" on the sign-in screen. You'll receive an email with reset instructions.
Can I change my email address?
Yes — update your email in account settings on web or in the app. You'll need to verify the new address.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account → Delete Account in the app or at thelorebook.com/app/account/delete. Deletion is scheduled and permanent once processed. See thelorebook.com/docs/account-deletion for details.
Encryption, visibility, and data use.
Who can see my content?
Your lore is private by default. The Lore Book is built as a personal encrypted journal — not a social feed. You control what you capture and archive.
How is my data protected?
We use industry-standard encryption and security measures for data in transit and at rest. Read thelorebook.com/secure-vault and thelorebook.com/privacy for the full picture.
What data do you collect?
We collect only what is needed to provide the service — account credentials, your lore content, and usage needed to run features. Review thelorebook.com/privacy for collection, usage, and your rights.
Does The Lore Book use AI on my content?
Some features use AI after you accept the in-app AI consent screen. You can review what is enabled in account settings. We do not train public models on your private lore.
What you can create, organize, and export.
What types of content can I create?
Moments and voice memos, memories, stories, recaps, progress trails, visions, and ranked missions — all linked through the lore block system with traceable sources.
What is Lumin?
Lumin is generative weight for your story and for published Lore Models. It reflects momentum from completed missions and community engagement with guides.
Can I export my data?
Contact support@thelorebook.com if you need a data export. Account deletion permanently removes your lore from our systems.
