Secure Vault

A private place for your lore: isolated encrypted storage, minimal AI exposure, and the tools to bind moments into stories you can trust, with traceable sources and Markdown export when you want your archive elsewhere.

We built Lore around a simple promise: what you write is not our product. Your journal is not batch-exported for ads. We minimize third-party touchpoints and keep sensitive personal data in your own isolated database, not co-located with strangers' rows on a shared slab. Day to day your lore lives in Memories and Stories, structured, searchable, and under your control.

Isolated, encrypted storage

Your account runs on a secure compute environment backed by Cloudflare Durable Objects with SQLite, so your memories, moments, and stories live in a database only you can reach, encrypted at rest. Cloud durability means backup without handing your shoebox of drives to fate.

AI without wholesale exposure

When AI helps you reflect or draft, we strip identifiers like email and user IDs before content reaches models hosted on Groq and Cloudflare. Providers enforce no‑logging posture where applicable; responses and payloads live briefly in server memory for the task, then leave when the work is done: not parked in a cozy warehouse "just in case." AI-assisted flows tie into Stories, Recaps, and Deep search without turning your identity into training fodder.

Your words can leave with you

Privacy is not a dead end. Export stories and lore to Markdown when you want a portable copy for another editor, a personal archive, or any AI workflow, without giving up isolated storage day to day.

Why cloud, not "only on device"

Local-first sounds brave until a phone dives into a lake. Lore aims for serious privacy without pretending lost phones are a backup strategy, plus persistent sync, encryption, tight isolation, and retention policies aligned with the moment you asked us to help.
