Lore Block System

How fleeting captures become durable lore. Memories, stories, recaps, and progress trails share one block model with traceable sources.

Instructions

From moment to finished block.

You do

Capture a moment

Start with text, voice, or a photo in Present: a fleeting signal that does not need to be polished. Moments are raw material, not finished lore.

What happens

Blocks take shape

When you Extract, accept memory suggestions, finish a story, or weave a progress trail, Lore promotes that work into a lore block: a titled artifact with summary, era, themes, and a sources trail back to what fed it.

Benefit

One system, many forms

Memories, stories, recaps, and progress trails all live as lore blocks, searchable, exportable to Markdown, and linkable as context for the next thing you build.

You do

Bind life into narrative

Layer fragments into arcs only you could tell: biography, travelogue, family epic, or quiet diary. Pull threads with discovery chat that already knows your saved blocks, or combine every moment with one person into a single through-line.

Interactions

How lore blocks connect across your story.

Moments

Raw captures feed recaps and mission evidence; processed moments archive as sources on finished blocks.

Memories

Distilled highlights you keep. Each memory is a lore block with title, summary, era, and linked sources.

Stories

Long-form narratives with discovery chat or write-it-yourself; the finished story and its chat are saved as traceable sources.

Recaps

User-initiated synthesis turns unprocessed captures into a recap block with discoveries and memory suggestions.

Progress Trails

Written chapters toward a vision. Progress moments from Extract woven into a first-person trail block on Past.
