Recaps

Turn captured moments into a readable story and structured insight when you Extract.

Instructions

Start a recap once you have enough new captures.

You do

Capture, then Extract

Log moments in Present until you have at least five unprocessed captures and your cooldown has passed. Tap Extract on Present to open the Recap Cycle.

What happens

A recap is synthesized

Your recap gets a title, summary, discoveries, and traceable sources. Character insights, mission outcomes, and memory suggestions are built from your recent life, not automatically, only when you commit Extract.

Benefit

Meaning you can reuse

Completed recaps live in Past beside memories and stories. Accept memory suggestions, review mission progress, and export to Markdown when you want a portable copy.

You do

Follow the Recap Cycle

Sixteen slots rotate through Mini, Standard, and Large tiers, deeper synthesis at positions 4, 8, 12, and 16. Your next tier is shown before you commit.

Interactions

How recaps connect across your story.

Moments

Your Present captures are the primary fuel. After Extract, they leave the current epoch and archive under Moments → All Time.

Memories

Recap memory suggestions let you promote highlights into stored lore. Accept to create a draft memory linked to your sources.

Stories

Unrecapped stories can feed recap context alongside moments. Stories included in a recap are marked processed.

Visions

In-progress visions and progress trails can feed recap context. Completed vision missions and new suggestions surface in the recap.

Vision Missions

Active subgoals with moment evidence can complete at recap. Lore models may suggest new missions with a deadline to accept.

Lore Models

Each active character can contribute an insight, Lumin, and mission outcomes based on your recent captures.

Lore Model Mission Paths

Character missions with evidence-backed progress can complete and award Lumin when the recap finishes.
